The question being: Shall SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 141(RES) An Act relating to a vessel permit moratorium for the Alaska weathervane scallop fishery; relating to management of the scallop fisheries; and providing for an effective date pass the Senate? The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHB 141(RES) Third Reading - Final Passage Effective Date YEAS: 17 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 2 Yeas: Adams, Donley, Duncan, Ellis, Green, Halford, Hoffman, Leman, Lincoln, Mackie, Miller, Phillips, Sharp, Taylor, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken Excused: Kelly Absent: Parnell, Pearce 1997-05-10 Senate Journal Page 1958 HB 141 and so, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 141(RES) passed the Senate. Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the vote on the passage of the bill be considered the vote on the effective date clause. Without objection, it was so ordered and the bill was referred to the Secretary for engrossment.
